At that time, Grandpa, a gifted young chef with Japanese and Taiwanese culinary talent who invented the famous Taiwan signature

pineapple pastries, played an early role in Taiwan's bakery industry and encountered life’s challenges: a career-altering car accident.

His broken arm prevented him from continuing to knead and roll dough as he used to, leaving the whole family with no choice but

to survive during the downtime of World War II.

Being a mother of five kids, giving up was never an option. Grandma Suzhen began to search for high-quality bakery ingredients from

domestic and international sources, and that’s when SUUN’s journey began: a pioneer in supplying quality ingredients to bakeries

and tea houses in Taichung, Taiwan.

Today, we, the third generation, are deeply committed to the strong core values of family traditions instilled by Grandma:

Śūnyatā, or the genuine, absolute truth of life. This value is reflected in how we respect our partners, customers, and, most importantly,

the natural gems Mother Nature caters for through each precious ingredient.

This is how SUUN is proud to represent our cherished heritage outside of our hometown for the first time,

and it will be deeply carried through our heartfelt respect for the profound interconnectedness of nature, life, and relationship.

In 1929, SUUN’s rich heritage found its root in Taichung, Taiwan, thanks to Grandfather Ji Jingquan ( 紀經全).

In the post-World War II landscape of 1945, a period marked by considerable hardship, Vic’s grandpa, as a young boy back then,

sought to improve his life. Gifted in the culinary arts, he worked in a small Japanese bakery, exchanging his labor for food,

where he began learning the art of tea and baking.

1929 อากง Ji Jingquan (紀經全) เริ่มเส้นทางการทำงาน

1945 เส้นทางของหย่งเฉิง เริ่มต้นในช่วงหลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งความยากลำบาก

อากงหรือเด็กชายเมิ่งในขณะนั้นหาลู่ทางในการดำรงชีพด้วยพรสวรรค์ทางด้านอาหาร  ได้โอกาสเข้าทำงานในร้านขนมปังเล็ก ๆ

ที่มีเจ้าของเป็นชาวญี่ปุ่น ทำงานแลกอาหารประทังชีวิตพร้อมเรียนรู้ศาสตร์ของชาและการทำขนมตั้งแต่นั้น

อากง หรือ เชฟจี้ เติบโตในฐานะเชฟมืออาชีพ ผู้คิดค้นพายสับปะรดอันลือชื่อของไต้หวัน  อากงผสมผสานความรู้ในการคัดเลือกวัตถุดิบคุณภาพ

ด้วยศาสตร์ญี่ปุ่นและไต้หวันทำให้ขนมและเครื่องดื่มของอากงมีชื่อเสียงจนกลายมาเป็นหนึ่งในร้านขนมปังเก่าแก่ของไต้หวัน

และเป็นกลุ่มชาวไต้หวันกลุ่มแรกแรกที่วางจอบเสียม มานวดแป้ง เปิดเตาอบเรียนรู้ทักษะการทำขนม

Grandpa's culinary journey shaped him into a passionate pastry chef. His mastery in sourcing the finest ingredients, combined with

his personal journey of Japanese and Taiwanese culinary traditions not only propelled his bakery and beverage to fame but also

made them an integral part of Taiwan's oldest bakery industry especially the invention of ‘Taiwanese Pineapple Pastry’

แม้อุบัติเหตุทางรถยนต์จะทำให้อากงแขนหักและไม่สามารถกลับมาทำขนมได้ดังเดิม แต่ความรักและหลงใหลในอาหารและเครื่องดื่มยังคงเข้มข้น

อากงไม่ยอมแพ้ และออกเดินทางใหม่ ด้วยความเชื่อและความเข้าใจในพลังของวัตถุดิบที่ดีที่สุด หวังส่งต่อประสบการณ์ทางด้านรสชาติให้ทุกคนได้อีกครั้ง

Despite a car accident that led to a broken arm, Agong with Ama Lin suzhen (林素貞)’s strong support, they set off again

with a strong belief in the transformative potential of superior ingredients that would allow the them to maintain the ability

to provide the finest culinary experiences for all.

ด้วยความช่วยเหลือของอาม่าหลิน สูเจิน อากงเริ่มเสาะแสวงหา และนำเข้าวัตถุดิบที่หายาก และไม่เป็นที่รู้จักชนิดแล้ว ชนิดเล่า

จากแหล่งผลิตเฉพาะทางต่าง ๆ เป็นรายแรก ๆ ของไต้หวัน เริ่มต้นจากการแบกวัตถุดิบเดินขายเองคู่กับภรรยา

จนมีลูกค้าติดใจในคุณภาพสินค้า และได้รับความนิยมมากขึ้นเรื่อย ๆ

With limited access to high-quality ingredients, they began importing rare, lesser-known high-quality raw materials,

one type at a time, from specialized regions in Taiwan and overseas sources. This endeavor was fueled by the aspiration

to deliver the finest to customers. They both personally handled the transportation and sale of these ingredients,

establishing a lasting legacy of quality commitment that steadily gained popularity over the years.

เริ่มต้นด้วยวัตถุดิบคุณภาพเพียงไม่กี่อย่างแต่กลับสร้างการยอมรับในวงกว้างเพราะช่วยให้เกิดการรังสรรค์เมนูที่

ทำให้ลูกค้าติดใจในรสชาติอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์และหาทานได้ยากมากมาย โดยชาเป็นหนึ่งในวัตถุดิบซึ่งถูกคัดสรรและเป็นสินค้าขายดี

ในช่วงแรกลูกค้าอันดับหนึ่งของชาคือกลุ่มทหารและชาวญี่ปุ่นที่เข้ามาตั้งรกรากอยู่ในพื้นที่นั่นเอง

It all began with a humble selection of high-quality ingredients but quickly earned widespread recognition.

Chefs soon realized that these ingredients enabled them to craft exclusive, deeply satisfying

culinary experiences that captivated customers, leaving them longing for more.

Tea, one of our delicately sourced ingredients, has become a best-seller. Initially, soldiers

and Japanese settlers in the area were its main customers.

With growing customer support through word-of-mouth, Agong founded Yongcheng, a comprehensive ingredient store. 

The name embodies our enduring commitment to honesty, pledging that Yongcheng will continually seek the best for its customers.

เมื่อมีลูกค้าซื้อและแนะนำปากต่อปาก อากงจึงได้กำเนิดร้านขายวัตถุดิบอย่างเต็มตัว  ตั้งชื่อว่าหย่งเฉิง ที่สะท้อนความ 

“ซื่อสัตย์เสมอไป” เป็นการให้คำมั่นสัญญาต่อลูกค้าไม่ว่าจะนานแค่ไหน หย่งเฉิงก็จะสรรหาสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดให้กับลูกค้าเสมอ

In 1988, the third generation of the Ji family grew up immersed in an array of ingredients. As a tea enthusiast, together with friends

who shared the same passion, they managed tea products ranging from premium culinary teas to competition-grade beverage teas.

By adhering to the principle that the best ingredients are the freshest, traceable to their origins, and crafted with meticulous care,

Vic frequently travels to various tea production regions to learn about the people and ingredients firsthand.

และมีเพื่อนที่หลงรักชาด้วยกัน จึงร่วมกันก่อตั้งแบรนด์ที่ตั้งใจส่งต่อความตั้งใจคัดสรรค์วัตถุดิบต่างๆ ครอบคลุมทั้งชาสำหรับทำขนมชั้นเลิศ

และที่สำคัญคือชารางวัลเกรดแข่งขันสำหรับทำเครื่องดื่ม โดยยึดหลัก วัตถุดิบที่ดีที่สุดคือวัตถุดิบที่สดใหม่ ทราบแหล่งที่มา ตรวจสอบย้อนกลับได้

และถูกผลิตอย่างปราณีตและใส่ใจ ดังนั้นวิคมักเดินทางไปยังสถานที่ผลิตชาต่าง ๆ เพื่อเรียนรู้ผู้คนและวัตถุดิบด้วยตนเอง

Our small tea house was born from the love for tea and Sunyata Philosophy. We believe that a fulfilling life comes from embracing

the simplicity of nature and cherishing each experience, relationship, and its unique interpretation.

Each tea leaf tells its own story, reflecting the beauty found in the interconnectedness of life.

ทั้งสามจึงก่อตั้งร้านชาที่ชื่อ SUUN ( ซุน ): a life well leafed  ขึ้นโดยมีแรงบันดาลใจจากห้วงเวลาในการดื่มชา โดยแก่นหลักของร้านคือปรัชญาสุญญตา

ที่สำหรับ SUUN ช่วยเตือนความจำว่า ชีวิตที่ดี คือชีวิตที่เคารพในความเรียบง่ายจริงแท้ของธรรมชาติที่ไม่ใช่บุคคล สถานที่ เวลา หรือสิ่งของ

หากแต่คือประสบการณ์เฉพาะที่เกิดจากความสัมพันธ์ในบริบทที่แตกต่างกันแม้เพียงเล็กน้อย  เฉกเช่นเดียวกับใบชาแต่ละใบที่บันทึกเรื่องราว

ไว้แตกต่าง และควรแก่การเป็นตัวแทนถึงความปราณีต งดงามของทุกความสัมพันธ์ในชีวิต

At SUUN, tea connects us to the world outside and the depths within. It embodies a profound life philosophy, facilitating moments

of serene reflection on the intricate details of the present. This practice equips us to impart happiness,

tranquility, determination, reverence, and authenticity to others.

SUUN เชื่อว่าชาเป็นมากกว่าเครื่องดื่ม ชาช่วยสานสัมพันธ์ต่อโลกภายนอก และพาผู้ดื่มกลับเข้าสู่การเดินทางภายใน

สู่ความจริงแท้ของชีวิต อีกนัยหนึ่ง ชาเป็นตัวแทนปรัชญาการใช้ชีวิต สร้างช่วงเวลาแห่งความสงบ อนุญาตให้ทบทวนรายละเอียดเล็กใหญ่

ในปัจจุบันขณะจึงเกิดความพร้อมต่อการส่งต่อความสุข สงบ ความตั้งใจ ความเคารพ และความจริงใจไปยังผู้อื่นได้เช่นเดียวกัน
